Google Calendar Provider for Thunderbird
Only had a brief play, but am already really liking this add-on which provides bidirectional integration between your Google Calendar and your local calendar in Thunderbird (to use you must have the latest version of Lightning installed - which provides the Thunderbird calendar component)
We’ve been watching the daft, bringing up baby on Channel 4 (http://www.channel4.com/health/microsites/B/bringing_up_baby/index.html).
Now if I was feeling curmudgeonly, I’d call it the worst type of pseudo scientific program, spuriously stating factoids based on the three or four families featured. However it was mildly entertaining, and apart from the fact that all of the three expert mentors shown on the program were apparently barking mad, the message that I ended up taking from the show was how astonishingly resilient babies are in coping with their parents’ neuroses.
Heh, on that note, well done Martin and Lisa, and can’t wait to meet Robin.

un disco verable » Color picker applet
Neat little applet that provides basic colour picking fun on Gnome. Needs to be compiled and installed manually, but this is pretty straightforward provided you have installed both python-gtk2 and python-gtk2-dev.
